Summer Mountain Leader Training  

Peak District - Lake District - North Wales

The ML (Summer) Award qualifies the candidate to lead groups of hill walkers anywhere in the British Isles in Summer conditions. The modular training course is based on the SML syllabus, and is run over three weekends. Emphasis will be placed on practical experience such as micro-navigation, safety on steep ground, group management, and expedition craft.

Summer Mountain Leader Assessment  

Peak District - Lake District

An intense, practical assessment course based on the ML syllabus, covering: navigation and group skills including a three-day expedition. Candidates must have satisfied the pre-assessment experience requirements. Adventure Unlimited run both a six day assessment and split assessment comprised of two long-weekends.
